Jeffrey Rovner - Founder & President
Jeffrey Rovner has over 20 years experience in professional medical device sales, marketing and executive management, working for major Physician Preference Item manufacturers such as C.R. Bard, Boston Scientific, Atrium Medical, and Smiths Industries Medical Systems. Prior to founding MedModus, Jeff held executive positions with a number of start-up medical technology and Web-based services companies. His expertise in strategic negotiation, consulting and auditing, combined with his clear understanding of how hospitals source and utilize Physician Preference Items, provides invaluable insights and significant results for our hospital clients.
Dev Mishra, M.D. - Vice President
Dr. Mishra brings more than 15 years of life science consulting expertise to MedModus. He maintains a private practice in sports medicine, and is a team physician with the United States Soccer Federation national teams. Dr. Mishra is also a consultant to numerous venture capital firms on medical device and service investments. As a practicing physician, Dr. Mishra makes sure that the physician's perspective is always represented for our hospital clients.
Paul Littlefield - Database Designer & Administrator, Client Analyst
Paul built and maintains our extensive database. His expertise, gained from over 6 years of transactional Web-based design and database development helps him organize and preserve the data that drives our ability to provide results to our clients. Paul is directly involved with on-site client audits and the "back-end" engine by which MedModus' open marketplace approach to Cost Recovery, Cost Reduction and Cost Management of Physician Preference Items.
Josef Gorek, M.D. - Founder & Clinical Advisor
Dr. Gorek is Chief of the Regional Spine Surgery Service for Kaiser Permanente, Oakland, and has practiced there since 1996. He is an experienced entrepreneur who holds numerous patents on commercially available spinal implants. His perspective in product development and entrepreneurship are critical in understanding the complex business dynamics of Physician Preference Item procurement and utilization. Dr. Gorek is an active investor in numerous healthcare and device companies, in which he holds Board positions.
